    Service Announcements

    Server Software Upgrade(1/3/2005)

    Server software of Server02 (Linux Web Server) has been upgraded to the following configuration:

  • Apache 2.0.53
  • PHP 5.0.3 with Zend Optimizer 2

    Preparation for Server OS Upgrade(9/11/2004)

    The operating system of Server02 (Linux Web Server) is going to be upgraded to Fedora Core 3. During the server upgrade, the web hosting server will be temporary moved to a backup server.

    The backup server is now in concurrent testing stage and is mapped to port 81 of your domain name. Work will start on 2004/11/9. During transition from/to backup server, the FTP service will be suspended for a short time (< 10 minutes).

    Server Software Upgrade(13/10/2004)

    Server Software on Server02 (Linux Web Server) has been successfully upgrade to the following version:

  • Apache Web Server: 2.0.52
  • PHP: 5.0.2 with Zend Optimizer

    If you found any problems after our upgrade, please contact us at soon as possible.

    Server Adjustment(14/9/2004)

    Due to server abuse found, all web hosting servers have been modified to prevent abuse:

  • FTP Quota on Server02 will be recalculated everyday to reflect possible change
  • All web hosting serers are now unable to connect to Internet directly
  • File Leeching (Deep Link) is now disallowed in Server02
  • Customization using .htaccess file is now possible (ErrorDocument, Authentication)

    Temporary Suspension of Service(28/5/2004)

    Due to Power Maintenance in the site, all services will be suspended starting from 29/5/2004 (SAT) 12:10PM. Service will be resumed on 31/5/2004 (MON) before 9:00AM. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    Server Software Upgrade(27/5/2004)

    Server Software on Server02 (Linux Web Server) has been successfully upgrade to the following version:

  • Apache Web Server: 2.0.49
  • PHP: 4.2.6
  • Tomcat: 5.0.25 (Servlet 2.4/JSP 2.0), Changed process user to nobody

    If you found any problems after our upgrade, please contact us at soon as possible.

    • Best viewed with at least Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 at 800x600 resolution with 16-bit color depth.
